This is a checklist I created based on the skills needed to improve NWEA MAP test scores. This document contains a checklist for skills most students need to work on to improve their test scores for Informational Text: Prediction, Inferring, and Drawing Conclusions.
This document is broken down into individual RIT Bands 151-160, 171-180, and 181-190. For each RIT Band I have broken each skill down even more into what they need to learn with a space for an activity you can have to cover this skill and the date they completed the activity. Also, a column for any comments/notes you want to make about a student's skill during reading conferences, as well as if they have mastered the skill.
I hope this will be beneficial and very user friendly. I plan to use this to group my students together for reading groups/independent activities and use their RIT Bands to see growth and individualize each student's learning.
