There are ten standards in the Reading Informational Text CCSS in grades 5 - 8. But when you start teasing the individual standards apart, you find several elements make up each one. As you begin to teach, you may find that you’re addressing four or five different concepts.
This resource offers “bite-sized” components from the grade 5 - 8 RI standards in easy-to-use, student-friendly posters. 32 posters in full color and 32 of the same poster in blackline masters.
These posters will help assure that you are addressing all the elements of each standard and reinforcing learning as needed. You can choose the standard that matches your students’ needs.
If you have already purchased Informational Texts for Grade 6, you have 20 of the posters. If you purchase this resource, you will receive 12 new posters. Please contact me if you have questions.
