These are worksheets that are differentiated to accomodate students needs in writing about informational text on animals. The first page is a graphic organizer that can be used to all students to think about 4 essential questions they would like to research about one particular animal. The bullets are just for short words (notes) not sentences. The following worksheets already have questions and sentence prompts for those students having a hard time with writing. They can just read books to fill in the blanks about 1 particular animal. The next set of writing paper is for those who can write more independently about their animal. The essential questions are on the top (less guided) but the questions allow them to focus on the topic. If there are students who have other questions that are not guided on the top, you may use the blank writing paper. That essentially is publishing paper after the students drafted and edited their writing. Attached is also a book report cover for the kids to draw and label their animals as well as a table of contents that I used for both publishing and drafting.
