Teaching Middle School students to write informative essays can be challenging but this will make it so much easier! The step-by-step interactive guided notes and video lessons will break things down and engage your students as they learn how to write text-based informative essays with ease.

This unit teaches:

➡️ The Writing Process: Read the prompt, Flip the Prompt, Read and Mark the Text, Plan

➡️ Introduction: hook, arch (bridge transition sentence), thesis

➡️ Body: Answer, Cite evidence, Explain with commentary, Ingeminate (repeat the cycle of cite and explain), Top it off with a Conclusion

➡️Conclusion: Affirm the thesis, Trim the point, andThe call to action
