PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a quick, engaging writing assignment for your students to complete in March. Students must pretend they are a leprechaun, take home a gold coin and hide it. Then they must write directions explaining how to find their coin. They must read these directions to someone at home to see if they can find the coin. If not, they must revise their directions. They bring their clues back to school to write a final copy and draw a map. My kids are loving this assignment!

Includes gold coins, graphic organizer for five clues, graphic organizer for first or final copy, paper for final copy and student samples.
