Informative speaking is the best place to start when teaching a public speaking class. A majority of high school students have a firm grasp on the basics of writing and can carry a listener through a 2-4 minute speech without difficulty, therefore, an informative speech outline enables you, teacher, to focus on presentation skills.

**The rubric allows for a two minute speech. Again, alter the time as meets your class needs**
