Product Description
I use this template to get my kids to begin writing short stories in 1st grade. At the beginning of the year we work on these together. As the year goes, we slowly move into them working on the more independently. At the end of the year, the kids should be able to do these on their own. There are 60 pages- each page has a color copy and a black and white copy.

These pages encourage kids to tell the steps they would take to do certain tasks. The tasks listed in this packet are:

How To:
~ paint a barn
~ milk a cow
~ mail a letter
~ eat a watermelon
~ build a snowman
~ give a mouse some cheese
~ pick a flower
~ paint an egg
~ sing a song
~ call a friend
~ make a quilt
~ drive a car
~ make a valentine
~ bake cookies
