Every year we do a unit on inherited traits, along with discussions on which traits occur most often. I created this document to do as a whole group activity. Students first take a "Self Inventory" of their own traits, then we come together as a whole class and reconcile all of the data that was collected and complete the "Rate of Frequency" portion of the document. This leads to a lot of really in-depth discussions on why some traits are more dominant than others, etc, along with tying into math (percentages). I usually have the students create graphs in PowerPoint, to display all of the data.
