Product Description
This assessment is intended to quickly determine student Numeration skills at the beginning of the school year. There are seven task groupings which address number recognition, the concepts of greater and less, making numbers, counting forward and backward, one-to-one counting, and the basic concepts of adding and subtracting. The concepts addressed are taken directly from the Ontario Curriculum, focusing on the skills students should have by the end of Kindergarten and Grade 1, and allowing an opportunity for students to show deeper thinking.
