Phonolanguage cards are designed to help students improve articulation skills, reading skills, semantic language skills, vocabulary skills and grammar skills. They can be used in speech therapy, classroom reinforcement activities, literacy centers or in small groups. Students read one syllable /r/ words first in isolation and then in the context of a sentence or question. Students then follow directions by formulating sentences or answering language based questions (antonyms, synonyms, idioms, past, present and future tense, definitions, attributes, and homonyms.) Student count up their points at the end of the game to see who wins. Each packet includes: 72 phonolanguage cards, a word list (62 different words) and progress chart. Each deck contains 6 board game consequence cards and 6 card game consequence cards.
I have been using these cards for years. My students enjoy improving their speech, language and reading skills by playing this game. I hope that you enjoy using this game with your students!
