The child will work to "fix" the injured football player by placing a “Band-Aid” (tape, stickers, etc) over a boo-boo. You can have the child earn the "Band-Aids" by answering questions or working on another one of their goals.
*Alternate play: Child can practice spatial concepts by following directions given by the SLP or teacher (ex. Put the "Band-Aid" on a cut at the bottom of the football player). SLP or teacher can place “Band-Aids” over the boo-boos before the game starts and write articulation words or questions on the back of the “Band-Aid”. The child can remove the “Band-Aid” to reveal the question or word.
