Description

PPT (Microsoft '97) is a presentation of an issue that is happening in the Dominican Republic in which Haitian Dominicans are being deported. I provide background information for the topic which I use to model expectations for a project that I assigned my Spanish AP students. After viewing PPT and discussing the issue, I ask students to research the internet for a social injustice topic in another country. Students are grouped together to work on a oral presentation in which they discuss the issue they have chosen. I provide students with a link to get them started:
