Input Output games has students looking for the rule on a given input output table.
Version 1: Students get with a shoulder partner and decide who will be player one and who will be player two. Player one then draws a card and figures out the rule of the input output table. Next player two checks player one’s answer on the answer sheet. If they are correct they get a point. Then player two draws a card and player two checks the answer. This continues till all cards are finished.
Version 2: With a game board, students will roll a dice and move ahead that many spaces. They will then draw a card and figure out the rule of the input output table. The other player will check their answer on the answer sheet. If the player gets it right then they stay, if they get it wrong they move back the number of spaces they rolled.
