Inquiry-based learning is a student-centered and teacher-guided instructional approach. It empowers students to become critical thinkers. It increases students’ ability to develop a deep understanding of content while increasing students’ intellectual engagement.
Students start by thinking of important people they would like to research and why. Then, students pose questions about their research subject. Students go through the research process by finding sources and information about the person they choose to write about. Students will become more invested in their learning when they have more control over what they will research.
This biographical research project contains all of the resources needed for students to write a biographical essay.
