Product Description
Have you heard of the three Inca children who were found almost perfectly preserved? Well, if you haven't- this lesson will use the element of surprise to engage you AND your students!

Studying ancient cultures, I have found that students were most interested in the sacrifices that different peoples made.

This is a two day lesson that students will take part in.

The teacher notes are at the end of the document with the student handouts at the beginning.

Follow the fictitious Dr. I. Wannaknow in his discovery of these artifacts. Split your "detectives" into groups and give them the picture that they must analyze and record notes on.
Remind students that this is a VERY confidential and important case- who doesn't love the dramatics?!

Collaborative Learning through inquiry- it's a beautiful thing :)
