ZERO PREP! Print and go game!
In the book, Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano, a farm turkey disguises himself as several other farm animals to avoid becoming Thanksgiving dinner. But the other farm animals are onto him. Several times the turkey says “How did you know it was me?” How did each animal - cow, pig, sheep, and rooster - respond to the turkey’s question?
Questions such as this one are given to players, those that cannot be answered with a single Google search. In this case, for example, students would have to track down the book, call a librarian, or find someone that has read it and knows the answer. All of the questions can be discovered with a of Google searches, and students are encouraged to seek out and question real-life community experts. The trick is knowing what to ask and where to look.
