I created this Inquiry Chart to be used with my students when we analyze and synthesis multiple sources of information. It allows students to investigate a topic by asking 3 different questions. Students search for information in 3 different sources and areas are provided in which to write notes about what they find in each source. This is beneficial to be used DURING reading.
This is a great organizer to use when conducting student or teacher lead research.
Two versions are provided. The first of which gives students the freedom to find their own sources and develop their own questions around a topic. The second version is a user-friendly, EDITABLE file in which the teacher can determine what questions need to be answered and what sources will be used.
An inexpensive collection of 7 different reading strategy organizers can be found in the following product: Reading Strategy Graphic Organizers
