Inscribed Angles in Circles
In this lesson, students will learn the vocabulary and theorems associated with inscribed angles in circles.
• Warm-Up -
The warm-up reviews chords in circles.
• Guided Notes -
Two versions are included: mostly complete and fill-in-the-blank. The notes are 2 pages long. Examples are included throughout.
• Practice Presentation -
A PDF presentation is included to use as in-class student practice. Students could work the problems on whiteboards. Since it is a PDF, the "slides" could be written on using SMART software (or other similar software). There are 10 questions. The presentation is in the format of Question-Answer-Question-Answer-Etc.
• Homework -
The homework is 2 pages and 17 questions. There are 5 always, sometimes, never questions. Some of the problems require students to write and solve equations to answer the questions.
• Answer Keys -
Completely worked out answer keys are included.
