Have you ever wondered what a Cicada looks like? How about a Cockroach? Insects, creepy crawlers, things with wings. This collection of file folder games has them all.
There are 12 full color pages of 72 bugs for children to match. These can be made into 3 different file folder games or 6 individual sheet activities. The game pieces may be found on 3 full color pages in grid form for easy cutting. The names of the critters are located on the game pieces.
To play print out all 14 pages. The pages with bugs may either be mounted into file folders, or laminated individually. The game piece pages are ready to be printed and cut, and laminated. The object is for the children to use visual discrimination to match the game pieces to the correct pictures.
In addition to the file folder game, duplicate copies of the game piece sheets are included so a traditional matching game may be played.
*Sort the game pieces according to physical characteristics like number of legs, wings,
color, spots, stripes, solids…..etc.
*Place the items in alphabetical order.
*Use as a bingo game by printing out more copies of the colored bug sheets.
Thank you, and happy learning.
