PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

My students love listening to content rich, engaging read alouds. I am constantly trading out QR codes and read alouds through the weeks based on the holiday's and themes we are studying in class! These 23 QR code read alouds are perfect to use while studying insects and bugs during the spring!

All the QR codes are linked to a SafeShare video. Students will simply scan the code with a scanning device (iPod, iPad, or iPhone), press play, and listen to the read aloud.

I have included a layout that can be cut into task cards. I use the card version in my classroom and the kids love it! I laminate the cards, put them on a binder ring, and store them close to our listening devices.

These codes are awesome for most primary grades. My first graders use them every day with little to no direction. They are perfect for Listen to Reading during a Daily Five block.

The following books are included:
-Because a Little Bug Went Ka-Choo!
-The Very Quiet Cricket
-The Very Busy Spider
-The Very Lonely Firefly
-Charlie the Caterpillar
-The Grouchy Ladybug
-The Very Clumsy Click Beetle
-The Very Hungry Caterpillar
-beete bop
-Bugs! Bugs! Bugs!
-Bugs Galore
-A Butterfly is Patient
-In the Tall, Tall Grass
-Waiting for Wings
-Old Black Fly
-I Like Bugs
-The Very Greedy Bee
-The Incredible Worm
-Percival the Plain Little Caterpillar
-Two Bad Ants
-Diary of a Spider
-Diary of a Worm
-The Crunching Munching Caterpillar

The code links can become broken. If that happens, please let me know and I will fix them immediately! If you print the product and the codes don't show (but everything else does), it is likely an issue with the printer mirroring the codes. I haven't quite figured out what causes that. If this happens, try to print to a different computer. The larger company printers work best. I also want to warn you about printing in color and laminating. With as often as the codes break, I don't want you to waste and become frustrated!
