Page 1: Title Page. Link to teacher’s notes
Page 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7: Reading Comprehension and “wh” questions. Touch paragraph to read aloud to students. Have students read questions at bottom. Students can drag highlighted words and phrases and place them into boxes to answer questions. Teacher prompting required to reinforce correct answers. The title at the top of each page is a link to more questions related to the insect’s paragraph.
Page 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13: Insect question pages. Related and linked to paragraphs in previous group. On top part of page have students answer questions by circling “Yes” or “No” answer box. Student is directed to circle the correct answer. On bottom of page use word bank to fill in missing words of paragraph. Use Magic Eraser to reveal words in paragraph. Title of page is linked to paragraph for students to refer to if help is needed.
Page 14, 15, 16, 17: Labeling Insects Body Parts. Drag words into boxes to label Insect body parts. Teacher prompting required to reinforce correct and incorrect answers. Pages can be printed easily and used as a reinforce.
Page 18: Writing Insect vocabulary. Have students copy Insect Vocabulary next to word. Pages can be printed easily and used as a reinforcer.
