Description

This activity uses ethology to introduce students to the scientific method and stresses inquiry-based learning. Ethology is the study of animal behavior and usually emphasizes behavior in the animal’s natural habitat. In this lab, students will use an ethogram (data table) to quantify animal behavior. This lesson is not included in my entomology unit study but would be a great extension.
