Are you looking for a way to inspire your students? These 33 inspirational quotes will help you encourage all your students and provides a writing activity. Each of the printable posters could become a part of a classroom growth mindset bulletin board.

Inspirational Writing will have your students responding to the well-known and not so well-known people from different times of history and their words of wisdom. Their words of encouragement, perseverance, and never give up attitudes will help your students improve their own!

Students will read inspirational quotes from Aesop to Oprah with many other people of their times. Imagine Helen Keller, Malcolm X, and unknowns such as Marva Collins and Jaime Escalante serving as inspiration!

Influential people and those lesser known had an impact on the society of their times, in the past and today. The short biography of each person in this product also gives students a chance to "meet" these folks whom they may not have heard about or known.

This product could be used as morning work, a bell ringer, an appetizer prior to starting a writing lesson, or simply as a station writing activity. I have downloaded this to my computer's desktop and I put up the weekly page on my SMARTboard. My students and I share writing responses and discuss answers to the question prompts as a part of our week's morning meetings.
