This product is an extra resource I created to use along with the textbook. It includes a vocabulary flip book for each lesson (students cut out and glue on a piece of notebook paper then write definitions), fill in the blank notes pages to go along with each lesson, a few in class activities, and a study guide plus test for both modules 1 and 2.

This file presently only has module 1. I will be adding module 2 as I create it. For now, this unit is offered at a discounted price. Once I create module 2, the price will increase. Develop a model to describe the movement of matter among plants, animals, decomposers, and the environment. Emphasis is on the idea that matter that is not food (air, water, decomposed materials in soil) is changed by plants into matter that is food. Examples of systems could include organisms, ecosystems, and the Earth. Assessment does not include molecular explanations.
NGSS5-ESS2-2
Describe and graph the amounts of salt water and fresh water in various reservoirs to provide evidence about the distribution of water on Earth. Assessment is limited to oceans, lakes, rivers, glaciers, ground water, and polar ice caps, and does not include the atmosphere.
