This is an Instagram Vocabulary Activity for students studying Spanish, but can be used in any other language class. It is also ideal for students who have access to a camera and/or use notability.
Instructions for the activity (in Spanish) are listed on the first slide of the product. Essentially, students will create a username in Spanish for their fake instagram and then they will take pictures of them acting out several vocabulary words in the target language. They will write a hashtag and then the vocabulary word under the picture. For example, if the word is nadar, my student will take a picture of her with goggles and write #nadar below.
Usually I have my students do this for homework and the next day in class their classmates write comments on their pictures. You can structure the comments so that students are required to use target grammar. For example, they should write 4 comments with "tener que" and "gustar"
