Instructional coaches are responsible for improving instruction throughout their campus. Some coaches are content or grade(s) specific while others serve the entire campus. No matter what your responsibility is as an instructional leader, it is key that you stay organized. Avoid the pitfalls of day to day ripping and running. Sure it is selfless and noble but your energy should be better directed and controlled so you can excel in your role.
Organize, protect and track your working schedule so that you can maximize time on task. Your efficacy is measured by student growth through teacher growth so make sure you are making each day count. Do you truly know how or where you spend your time? Use this tracker to reflect. You will start to recognize your trends, uncover barriers and redirect your efforts for maximum impact.
