Product Description

This unit is a FLEXIBLE unit that can work with grades K-8. It covers the four instrument families in detail. There are four presentations with many EXCELLENT example videos for nearly every instrument covered (listed below).

Each presentation comes with 2 pages of GUIDED NOTES for students to fill out as they follow along. The guided notes are great for grades 2-8.

What are "Guided Notes?" Guided Notes are printed sheets that contain all of the information contained in a presentation BUT there are blanks with missing pertinent information that students need to fill in. Guided notes keep students engaged in a lecture based setting, as they have to fill in the blanks as you go along. For a FREE example presentation of the guided note system click HERE! (This sample is a much more complicated system than is included in the Instrument Family unit.) The instrument unit pages are GREATLY simplified to keep this unit approachable for younger grades!

This unit can also be used for NON-MUSIC SUBS! All information is contained within, and no musical knowledge is required to take students through these presentations.

The product will now come in a compressed zipped file. For simple steps as to how to unzip this file, check out this WikiHow page.
