Simple but Effective!
This is a simple activity where students look at pictures of objects (spoon, foam cup, etc.) and decide if the object is a good insulator or a good conductor. They cut out the object pictures and paste them into the appropriate box (conductor or insulator). This is a perfect addition to an Interactive Notebook. For lower-ability groups, make an overhead of the key (provided) and have students glue each example as you discuss them. This is a Word document, so it is easy to edit for your needs or to modify for individuals.
