PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This physical science teaching lesson is an insulators and conductors hands-on activity to complement your electricity unit. Students will review what an insulator and conductor are. They will then create their own series circuit. From there, the directions will lead them to predict which objects they think are insulators or conductors. Students will then test their predictions and finally answer comprehension questions about their learning.
Students will test:
• metals, such as nails, washers, paper clips, wire, and aluminum foil
• dowel (wood), glass, rubber band, cotton, sandpaper

This activity was designed and used with grade 7 small group and inclusion science students.

This product comes as a blackline master and includes an answer key.
