To play this game, students will pair up and use a set of playing cards to create and solve integer problems. In the game red cards represent negative numbers and black cards represent positive numbers. Each card is worth face value except face cards (kings, queens, jacks, aces) which are worth 10 points. Students take turns pulling cards and write the answers on the blank. The first person to correctly solve the problem gets points worth the absolute value of the answer they found. The winner is the student with the most points at the end.
