This resource is quick on preparation and helps students practice integer operations while getting out of their seats. Students simply are given a set of integer expressions and they are to simplify and then check their work with posters (8.5 x 11 folded papers) that are attached around the room.
Addition, Subtraction, and a Mixed practice set are all included. The posters are to be printed double sided so that students go to the correct set of problem answers to check their solution. I have used these both actual practice when I had a substitute and as a warmup when I was present. In both cases, students responded well to the structure of having immediate feedback. With integer operations requiring practice, this method is one of the many different ways where students can practice with immediate feedback while getting out of their seat.
