Product Description
This product is also part of a money saving bundle:
Integers Operations Bundle - Task Cards, Notes/Examples, Matching Activity

This product includes:

-- 32 integer operations task cards with colorful borders (pages 3-10)
-- a student answer recording sheet in black & white (page 11)
-- an answer key in color (page 12)
-- the same 32 integer operations task cards with black & white
borders for more economical printing (pages 14-21)
-- an answer key in black & white (page 22)

Print the set of task cards (colored or black & white) that you would like and cut apart. I recommend using cardstock and laminating for best use. The black & white copy would look great on colored cardstock.

Depending on the skill level, task cards may be used as a reinforcement or a challenge activity.

Individuals: When work is finished early, use task cards as extra practice.

Partners : Use task cards as a scavenger hunt. Hang the cards at various places around the room. Write the answers on small post-it notes and hang them above different task cards (not above the corresponding problem). Each team starts at a different card. They should write the problem and the answer on the recording sheet. Then, search for the answer posted on the wall and solve the problem below it. Continue until all problems have been solved.

Small groups: Put students in groups of 4 and give each student a card. The group completes each problem and checks if the same answer is found. Great math discussion can happen here! Pass the cards around the groups.

Whole group: Place a task card on each desk. Give students 2 minutes to solve & record the answer. Then students move to the next desk and task card.
