Learning Objective: Students will practice manipulating integers with the four basic mathematical operations.
Directions: Before you teach this activity, you need to print out the playing cards double sided and cut them out (or have the students cut them out before they play the game). You also need to have the student worksheet printed out as a double sided worksheet. The students will draw two integer cards and one operations card from the deck that has been shuffled—they will write down the problem in a line of their worksheet and they will solve the problem. On the back side of the worksheet there is room for 3 integers and 2 operations—this will test the students integer skills as well as order of operations knowledge.
