This game was developed to help students practice mental math with simple integer addition and subtraction.
The game has 52 cards similar to a traditional deck of cards. There are 4 cards that total the same integer. There are 13 different integer sets similar to the 13 different card values in the traditional deck.
The game is played like Go Fish. A player will need to compute the total in their hand to know what to ask for. For example: if the card reads "-3+1" they will ask "Do you have a -2. If the player has a card that totals -2, they hand it over and the original player has a match to lay down. If the player does not have a card that totals -2, they say "Go Fish"
I printed my cards on colored paper and laminated for longivity.
