Two pages of doodle notes defining and comparing integers, opposites, and absolute value offered in three different formats to help make differentiation easier. You can give students the full notes and allow them to color, shade, and draw on them; a second option is a fill-in the blanks note page; or use the third option which just has the titles to allow you to customize your own definitions and examples.
Doodle notes are a great way to engage students during a lesson. Students think you are allowing their creativity to shine through (and you are), but you are also increasing their focus, retention, engagement, and comprehension of the material. This is truly a win-win situation!
