This PPT game was inspired by the popular game Tic-Tac-Toe. Students choose a square, but can only get an X or an O if they answer the qmath question correctly. If they fail to do so, the other team gets to claim the square. This PPT game helps students to review the following topics:
- adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers
- simplifying expressions using the correct order of operations
- solving word problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division or exponents
- naming and simplifying exponents and square roots
The Preview provides a look at one round of the 6 round game.
PPT Tip: Be careful to use the back arrow when playing the game--do not try to advance to the next slide by clicking. Clicking once will bring up the answer to the question--clicking twice will advance to the next slide in order, which is the next question, not the Tic-Tac-Toe board. For this reason you should always use the back arrow located on the question slides.
