Use this Integrated Performance Assessment to assess your students interpretative, interpersonal and presentational communication skills on the topic of clothing in Spanish. This IPA is written following the ACTFL format for IPA's. The scenario is written to use the preterite and imperfect together but the prompt can be changed to fit your needs in any level of Spanish. The Interpretative task asks students to read 4 pages of an El Corte Ingles fall chilldren's catalog and identify key words, main idea, supporting details, organizational features and guess meaning from context. The Intepersonal Task asks them to talk about what they wore as a child and what they wore on the first day of school and compare those items to the catalog clothing. The Presentational Task asks students to create their own fall teenage clothing line, illustrate it, describe it and compare it to clothing they wore as a child.
