This unit is planned around the science standard: identifying chemical and physical changes and Reading Informational text objectives: reading complex texts, discovering main idea and key points in a text, summarizing paragraphs, and pulling evidence out of text. In this lesson, students will use QCER to make valid arguments to others based on their own evidence and reasoning.
