OPEN-ENDED FILL IT IN(p. 116-126) Students can either write their words on the blank picture icons to practice, or they can color them in each time they practice one of their words. RAINDROPS (p. 127-152); FLOWERS( (p. 153-177); BUGS( p. 178-202)- Students cut and paste their words onto the sheets. Sounds are separated into individual sections in the order: p, b, m, n, t, d, k, g. f, v.
GAME BOARDS (p. 203-210) Game boards for students to use to practice their words.
SPINNERS (p. 211-216)- Students write their words on the pictures around the spinner and use a pencil and a paperclip to spin to see how many times they say the word before coloring the pictures.
-PHRASE/SENTENCE LEVEL SHUTTER FLAPS
(p. 217-230). Students cut out the shutter flap. They fold on the dotted lines and fold them over. They can then write their words or cut and glue the pictures into their notebook or around the flaps or the flower petal flaps..
SPIN A SENTENCE (p. 231-233)
Cut out the top circle on page 233 and pin it on top of page 231 and 232 using a paper fastener.
