This Interactive Book was made in order to introduce the concept of 'I see' comments to a child using PECS. It is also a great activity for teaching colours to a child.
Please also check out the other two interactive books in this 'I see' series:
- What do you see in the Window?
- I see Farm Animals

This interactive book contains 6 pages, each targeting a different colour. On each page are 3 items, all of the same colour. The adult asks 'What do you see?' and the child responds by choosing a colour symbol from the right and placing it onto the 'I see' sentence at the bottom to form a sentence.
Also included in this product are three portable 'I see __' sentence strips and a portable colours symbol board so that you can generalize the activity.
18 pictures of different coloured items are included and can but cut out to use in generalization activities. For example, hide them in a tub of rice and then have the child find each card. You can then ask 'what do you see?' and prompt the child to use his 'I see' sentence strip (following PECS protocols if you are training in PECS)
