Your preschoolers, kindergarteners, and early elementary students with apraxia of speech, phonological delays, or expressive language delays, will love helping the hurt animals in this playful, interactive, and repetitive story book!
You can use this "hands-on" story book to target a variety of speech and language skills (Not back to in-person sessions? Don't worry! This product includes a Boom Card for teletherapy!).
On each of the eight pages, an animal has got hurt doing something they love! Your student is able to choose a colourful band-aid for the pet. In the printable, hands-on version, the animals detach from the page, so your student can retell the story on each page. (Unfortunately, the animals in the BOOM card do not move due the nature of their 'bumps' not moving with them).
The story follows a playful and rhyming text. The text is simple and clear so even your youngest students can understand.
Includes ideas for targeting: wh-questions, verbs, verb tenses, body parts, requesting, attributes, and rhyming.
