This is for a bulletin board that my students do as part of independent work. I change it every 2-3 weeks but use the same format so only the pictures and headings have to be changed.
There are three different ways this bulletin board can be made. The first way is by using the labels hot, cold, snowy and rainy. You can then decide to put a boy, girl or both under that heading and allow students to find clothes that you would wear under the appropriate heading.
The second way is by using the labels fall, winter, spring and summer and 4 blank 6 square grids. Place the four headings up on the bulletin board and a blank 6 square below it. Then you will need the four 6 square grids with pictures. You will print, laminate and Velcro. Then your students will sort the clothes to the appropriate season.
The third way this bored can be used is with the labels fall, winter, spring and summer, 8 blank 4 squares and the cards with kids in clothes. After putting the labels up, put 2 four squares under each label. The students will then sort the pictures under the correct label.
Included in this download are:
-4 categories for sorting with 6 items of clothing per a category (24 items total)
-4 categories for sorting people dressed in different clothing items for the different types of weather (32 people total)
-4 bodies (2 girls and 2 boys) to be dressed with 72 pieces of clothing to dress the bodies
More pictures to come!
