As children develop their language processing skills they must master understanding how objects are grouped. This is no easy task! So, sometimes we need to go back to basics to help our students learn these integral parts of language.
This activity takes the stress of trying to think of grouping objects off of the students by using colorful visual supports for the both the targeted items and the answer. All the student has to do is scan the images to the match!
This simple activity can make a big impact on creating the foundation for this skill.

Set 1: Match object to its group
- school supplies/glue
- cleaning supplies/paper towels
- farm animals/chicken
Set 2: Match group to object
- scissors/school supplies
