Product Description
Included in this packet: Interactive Category Books related to items in a school. The two books feature interactive pictures that each student places into the correct room in the house. Included rooms: principal’s office, nurse’s office, janitor’s closet, preschool classroom, school-aged classroom, library, gym, and cafeteria.

Page 8 and 14 are the bases to each book. The page that is the base of your book has the picture symbols on the bottom of it. Cut around the shape of the school (the large rectangle) and the icons. On the other pages, cut out the shape of the school and discard the bottom of the page. Place the book pages on top of the base. Hole punch all pages and put book rings in the holes. Page 15 includes the picture cards that will be the interactive part of the book. Laminate the icons on page 15, cut each apart, and add Velcro. Place Velcro on each of the small pictures on the bottom of the base and on the squares in each room. Attach the page 15 picture cards to the base by matching the picture. As your student turns each page of the book, ask him/her to find the items that belong in that space. Use the base page (that includes all four rooms) as a follow-up activity. Have student sort picture cards into the four rooms.
