I created this 21-page document in an attempt to make the rules in my classroom more interactive. I wanted my students to develops a greater sense of responsibility for their own learning and a set of principles for them to internalize and use for the rest of their lives.

I make a T-Chart for each rule describing what it looks like/doesn't look like with the students. I then spend a day focusing on each Button, more clearly defining each rule. Students who struggle to follow rules fill out a reflection page and we have a mini-conference during their time (recess or lunch, for example) about how we can work together to follow the rule.
As for procedures, I've included some posters with acronyms for how students should behave in the following situations or areas:
