Interactive Counting Notebook
Students will practice:
Counting 1:1 correspondence
Matching numerals to sets of objects

You will need: 1” binder (with plastic cover), plastic baggie, 3 hole punch, cardstock, and Velcro.
Print out all pages on cardstock.
Place title page in front cover of binder.
Laminate and three hole punch the counting pages.
Put a Velcro dot on the gray circle on each page.
Cut out the parrots with numbers on them and place the opposite Velcro dots on the back side.
Place in binder in random order.
Punch three holes in bottom of baggie in order to hold the flowers inside the binder. You could also use pencil bags for binders.
Slip the title strip in the spine of the binder.
This set counts 1-15.
Use with small groups, as a math center or with students needing extra practice with counting, one to one correspondence, number recognition, etc…
