This is an activity in which students go around the classroom and solve Algebra I problems. At each question their response will ask them to pick up an item and then dress up one team mate in these items. I designed the lesson around a willing teacher in my building who is Mr. Heflin. He dressed up in the proper answers for me and I used these on the bulletin board with the students answers for them to compare and see if they were correct. It took a lot of work but the students enjoyed the activity. You could adjust the activity to work for a teacher in your building and you could adjust the dress up items to be items that you have available. Or you could just do the activity as a scavenger hunt/mad lib type of activity and have the students say what the person would be dressed like without actually having them dressed up. It was a great Algebra I review activity. Took me about 8hrs to create and put up the lesson in my room but worth the time for the students.
