Are you looking for engaging alphabet practice for your students incorporating multiple learning styles?

Try this All About “A” Interactive Emergent Reader and Literacy Center! This pack can be used in several ways. You can use the teacher version to introduce a new letter to the whole class. It is complete with Velcro pieces to interact with the book. There are 4 activities to practice with the letter A as well as a page with QR code links to letter A songs! After using it as a demonstration, this book can become a literacy center. Students can manipulate the pieces, use dry erase markers to complete the 4 activities, and use a smart device to scan and sing the songs. Students also complete their own emergent reader version of the book to take home and practice! Perfect for visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners!

• Full page, Full Color Teacher Version of book for demonstration or use in literacy centers
• Half page Student books with duplicate top and bottom versions for easy copying, and assembly
• Student version available in color or black and white
• Students interact with their books in the following ways:
*Cut/glue the uppercase letter at the beginning of the sentence and the lowercase letter to begin the focus word.
*Color the picture.
*Practice reading and pointing to each word in the sentence.
*Read it! - Glue the pictures next to the appropriate word
*Trace it! – Practice handwriting for the focus letter
*Write it! – Practice writing the focus words
*Find it! – highlight, dab, or color the focus letter
*Sing it! – Students scan the QR code and sing along to learn the letter
