Students will interact with figurative language elements with these 20 task cards containing QR codes. Each task card contains a figurative language element and QR code. Scanning the code sends students to an image from the Library of Congress. Students will use that image to write an original sentence containing the given figurative language element on the task card.
Recording sheets are provided for students, as is a suggested answer key, though students’ answers will vary widely.
