Description

Use this set of Interactive Google Slides™ to address identifying 2D Shapes (geometric & real life). You can use these slides in whole group with your students or assign the slides in Google Classroom and easily go back and see which shapes your students need to work on. There are 8 different shapes included in the slides. Each shape has 1 slide where students find matching geometric shapes and 1 slide where students find real life objects matching the given shape. Real life objects for each shape include:

  • Triangle- pizza slice, tee-pee, yield sign, clothes hanger
  • Square- window, checker board, lock, wooden frame
  • Circle- clock, wheel, donut, quarter
  • Rectangle- door, notebook, picture frame, computer screen
  • Oval- hair brush, crown jewels, lime, blimp
  • Diamond- kite, traffic sign, playing card, baseball diamond
  • Hexagon- soccer ball, honeycomb, necklace, nut
  • Octagon- stop sign, spider web, snowflake, medal

Check out my preview to see the slides in more detail! Teacher directions are also included, but this is super easy-to-use and can be used on a computer or tablet. It's great for distance learning or for tech time in the classroom, like during math centers. When assigning in Google Classroom, don't forget to "make a copy" for each student! If you have any questions please let me know!
